This week’s update is all about how God orchestrates divine appointments in His perfect timing. Judi shares an incredible story that began last November when Edgar Sactic filled out a form to adopt Estancia High School. After waiting five months for a prayer partner, God brought connection through Operation PRAY’s Huntington Beach team, Danny and Denise, who met Larry Sims. When they shared the mission, Larry was immediately all in, and the prayer team was formed. At the same time, Judi was walking through a very trying, personal season as her 91-year-old father was placed into a skilled nursing facility and rapidly declining. In the middle of this, she had been praying for an open door to have a real and honest conversation with him about his faith. On Monday, God answered that prayer. Judi had an uninterrupted, meaningful conversation with her dad; something she had been deeply praying for. And in what could only be God’s timing, her dad’s facility was located near Estancia High School, where she was already scheduled to connect Edgar and Larry as a prayer team. Everything aligned! Edgar, who serves with Generations OC Church, was also already scheduled to speak at the Christian Club on campus. By Thursday, the outreach event took place, 156 students attended, and 25 made decisions to follow Christ 🙌 On Wednesday, Judi also launched a new prayer team with Pastor Terry and his wife Rosie from The Bridge Fellowship Church in Jurupa Valley. They were warmly welcomed by students, prayed with many, gave out Bibles, and shared Life Books to help students grow in their faith. Judi also shares an update on Maria Davis, wife of Pastor Kerry Davis, who was involved in a serious car accident. She has now had back surgery, and the family is asking for continued prayer. Pastor Kerry deeply appreciates all the prayers and support. Finally, Judi invites all volunteers to the upcoming Year- End Gathering, encouraging everyone to bring their families and anyone interested in learning more about the mission of Operation PRAY. It will be a time of celebration, fellowship, and seeing all that God has done.

This week was filled with powerful outreach, student engagement, and open doors for prayer across campuses. On Tuesday, Judi and Diana Ronquillo visited North High School FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) where over 30 students gathered along with several pastors. Operation PRAY was invited to share their mission and help students learn how to pray, especially those who were new, shy, or unsure how to pray. A big focus was encouraging students to begin stepping into leadership, with the hope that graduating seniors would return next year to adopt North High School and volunteer with Operation PRAY, praying student-to-student on campus. On Wednesday, Judi and Mark Farmer participated in Santiago High School’s Jesus Club first outreach event. Guest speaker Pastor RJ McCauley shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and over 160 students attended. Around 80 students made decisions to follow Christ that day Operation PRAY was there to support students, pray with them, and provide “Life Books” so they could continue reading and sharing the Gospel. On Thursday, Judi and Albert Alvarez were invited to a monthly lunch with 6–8 pastors to share the mission of Operation PRAY. This connection began through Albert seeking a prayer partner after a personal loss, which opened the door for deeper relationships with local churches and new opportunities to partner in reaching schools. Through this, Operation PRAY continues to grow in connecting churches, volunteers, and students to pray for and serve the next generation. Lastly, Judi is asking for prayer for Pastor Kerry Davis, his wife Pastor Maria, and their granddaughter, who were involved in a serious car accident. Operation PRAY Weekly Update 32 In this week’s update, Judi from Operation PRAY shares powerful moments of connection, growth, and what God is doing across campuses and communities. We start by honoring Glenna, a dedicated teacher advisor for the Jesus Club at Orange High, who will be retiring next year. It was a special time of fellowship bringing together Glenna, Debbie, Deborah, Diana, and Judi, celebrating years of faithfulness before her next chapter. Judi also shares about joining a monthly prayer call with Campus Alliance (“Every Student, Every Campus”), followed by attending the Orange County Collective gathering with Diana. These movements are committed to lifting up the next generation nationwide through prayer, resources, and meaningful connection. Last month, Judi and Diana had the opportunity to present Operation PRAY to 300 pastors at a pre-rally for The Send, happening July 23–25 at Anaheim Convention Center in California. This gathering is all about inspiring and activating believers to step into mission fields, schools, universities, and neighborhoods. Operation PRAY is asking for prayer and support to be part of this impactful event, where they’ll have the opportunity to share with over 17,000 leaders. This could help expand Operation PRAY beyond California and across the nation. Praying for someone doesn’t have to be long or complicated, it just needs to be intentional. In this video, Todd shares a simple and powerful way to pray for someone right in the moment without overthinking it or losing focus. A simple 5-step guide: 1️⃣ Keep the prayer short, about 30 seconds so the person can stay engaged and open. 2️⃣ Keep your eyes open. God may show you clues on how to pray specifically for them. 3️⃣ Pray for God’s Kingdom and His will to come over their life. 4️⃣ Pray that they experience the love of God in a real and personal way. 5️⃣ Pray for the specific need they shared with you. Prayer doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be sincere. When we step out in faith, even a short prayer can become a powerful moment that brings encouragement, peace, and hope. Sometimes the greatest impact comes from simply being willing to pray right now.

In this weekly update, Judi shares exciting developments as Operation PRAY continues to grow and reach more high schools across the country. Danny from the Huntington Beach prayer team was inspired after watching a documentary about Reverend Kalvin E. Cressel and his church, Greater Mt. Sinai MBC of Compton. After connecting with church leadership, there was a shared passion for bringing prayer and encouragement into local high schools. Judi was later invited to the grand opening of their Cultural Center; a building that was once a liquor store but is now a space dedicated to serving the community. Judi, Bobby and Diana attended the Youth Pastor Summit at Saddleback Church where they shared the mission of Operation PRAY with 200 pastors who are seeking ways to support students through prayer and encouragement. Our prayer is that school all over California and surrounding California get adopted and volunteers support the next generation.  Todd and his wife also traveled to Oregon where they led a workshop and shared Operation Pray with a church that has now committed to adopting a high school in their community. Operation Pray is now active in  - Alabama -Florida- North Carolina- Oregon- California with continued prayer for expansion into more schools nationwide. Is it coincidence or connection? In Weekly Update #27, Judi shares a powerful testimony of how God orchestrated every detail — from an urgent call at Los Osos High School, to a divine connection with evangelist Ross Johnston, to a gym full of students responding to the gospel. What began with heartbreak became a story of hope, prayer, and harvest. Operation PRAY teams had been faithfully praying, sowing, and watering the soil on campus — and this February outreach revealed the fruit. Students left the bleachers, walked onto the gym floor, and prayed to receive Jesus. But the story doesn’t end there. A new Christian club president, Hannah, along with six other students, asked to join the prayer team. When Judi asked her why, Hannah said: “The purpose of the Christian club is fellowship, yes — but also to mobilize Christians to reach the lost on campus. High school is the most immediate mission field.” This is the vision of Operation PRAY: Students praying one‑to‑one with their classmates, reaching the lost right where they are, and becoming bold witnesses for Jesus on their own campuses. A two‑week whirlwind of ministry highlights shows God moving powerfully across Southern California high schools. From Chino Hills to Whittier, Ramona, and Corona, Christian clubs are overflowing, students are stepping up to join prayer teams, and Bibles are disappearing as fast as they’re offered. Two online students join our Ayala prayer team, Cal High students take every Bible brought after two campus lockdowns, Ramona High sees 170 students make decisions for Christ at a lunchtime outreach, and Santiago High’s club explodes from 35 to over 100 weekly attendees. These updates capture a remarkable surge of spiritual hunger as Operation PRAY teams witness students turning to truth, prayer, and Jesus in unprecedented numbers.
