When we began this journey praying with high school teens in August 2022, God impressed to me a vision of praying at three high schools, (Corona, Centennial and Santiago), three days a week for thirty minutes. By the end of the first year, we had prayed with more than 1,400 students and expanded to five schools. I was utterly amazed by what God achieved through four volunteers in just nine months, with only 30 minutes of prayer at each school.
About six months into 2023, God altered that vision to have a prayer team of two at every California high school by 2025. I wrote the vision down and did a quick internet search to see how many high schools were in California. At the time, the number was 1,299; as of 2023-24, there are 1,297 high schools and 565,351 students. Currently, Operation PRAY is praying at seventeen high schools. Granted that's a three fold increase from 2022, but far from 1,297!
God's updated vision for Operation PRAY appears unattainable this year. Yet, we have recently just celebrated Christmas, a time that reminds us of the miraculous event of His Son, Jesus, coming down from heaven to be born of a virgin. You can also open your Bible to see God performing remarkable acts of love and mercy through those who listen to His voice and follow His guidance. We have the choice to be His instruments (2 Timothy 2:20-21) and be used for His glory and kingdom on earth.
A simple way to begin this process is found in John 15:1-9. Abide in Him, and be abundantly fruitful. Verse 7 states, "If you abide (stand, remain, endure) in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." Our heart's desire is P.R.A.Y...Prayer Reaching All Youth.
I don't know how God is going to provide 2,594 people (1,297 prayer teams of two) to pray at 1,297 California high schools in 2025, but I know He can!

We've partnered with Campus Alliance (a coalition of organizations to share the vision of reaching out to every student in America to pray for and share the gospel) to pray monthly for OP and other school ministries across the nation.
Thanks to the generosity of many donors, we have reached one-fourth of our 2025 financial target of $10,000.
March 5 & 7 kicks off the pre-rally events for Mayday USA tour (pray, worship and defend our nation's children) with Her Voice Movement and Ross Johnston in Los Angeles, Saturday, May 31. We'll be promoting OP to thousands of Californians with a call to volunteer!
May 10, we are co-hosting a free worship concert with Centennial HS Christian clubs. Family and friends from over 20 high schools and local churches will be attending with the invitation to join our prayer teams for the fall semester.
October 13-16 CYC (Claim Your Campus) 10,000 Mile Team (a team of young adults devoted to call Gen Z to pray for change across America) will be at campuses across California to promote OP and pray with us.
And, that's just the beginning what God has started for 2025! We remain steadfast in Him to receive guidance for His vision of having prayer teams of two at each of the 1,297 California high schools in 2025! Be a part of this miraculous journey He has arranged for us!
