Giving (Hope) Tuesday, December 3rd

Giving Tuesday is December 3. All across the world, people come together to support financially and pray for their favorite nonprofit.

Thanks to your prayers and generous financial support last year we accomplished the following:

• We grew from five to nineteen schools with 45 volunteers.

• Our prayer teams prayed with over 3,200 students and over 230 decided to follow Jesus.

• Operation PRAY was hosted at five Christian clubs where we introduced the power of prayer to over 430 students. This year, we've been invited back and will be adding several new schools to teach "How to hear from God".

• Need Prayer Inc, the legal name for Operation PRAY became a 501c non-profit organization.

• We now have a website designed to assist and guide others in starting a prayer team at a high school near them.

• We are able to supply our volunteers with T-shirts, signs, prayer journals and Christian club info cards at no cost to them.

We have two major items we'd like to focus on this school year:

1. Expand our social media presence: We are in need of an individual (or two) to train, equip and expand our social media growth. If we are to grow the ministry and reach beyond our local region, social media will be vital in this endeavor.

2. Further develop our online training: This includes video lessons and interactive education. We believe it's important for our teams to be well trained and confident as they engage this generation with the love of Christ. This type of training has inherent costs, and we hope to raise the financial support needed to implement this as we move forward.

   
   

Here's a few ways to get involved this Giving Tuesday. Adopt a new school and start a prayer team. Join one of our existing prayer teams. Share Operation PRAY with family and friends. Give with a one-time or monthly gift of $10 or more. Your financial gift goes a long way in helping us reach more students across this nation. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for this school year.

When I began designing this year's "Give" page, I felt inspired by God to include genuine prayer requests from the students. As you maybe aware, this is a generation that is struggling and feels lost. By introducing them to the love of Jesus through prayer, we build relationships with them; they experience the Living Word spoken over them, physical healing, and see mental illness diminish. God is actively working with Gen Z to initiate a reformation and revival unlike anything we've seen in years!
